Turon Con Halo Halo Recipe


1 kilo prepared halo-halo, placed in freezer 8 Chinese lumpia wrappers 1/2 cup cornstarch paste 1 cup brown sugar oil for deep-frying chocolate syrup sesame seeds


  1. Cut the frozen halo-halo into small blocks. Place in wrappers, roll and paste edges to secure that they will not open.

  2. Deep-fry until golden brown. You may add brown sugar into oil until caramelized. Remove from oil and drain in wire rack.

  3. Cut into half, arrange in a plate and serve with chocolate syrup and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
